Rocky Shore Scenic Scarf
Our range of scenic scarves are inspired by the nature of the British Isles, from the mountains of the Cairngorms, to the majestic Stonehenge and the variety found in our British seas. These unique scarves are designed to be worn so the scene continues across the ends when worn loose, but look equally good with one end thrown over a shoulder for a more casual look.
The main body of each scarf is knitted with British wool, (the details of which can be found below) and backed by fleece, making them incredibly warm to wear, and don't aggravate sensitive skin due to the fleece backing.
As all our scarves are knitted to order, and our wool is sourced from all over the UK, the colours and embroidery on the finished items may differ slightly from the images shown. However, the design and the feel of the scarves will be similar.
The Outside In team create a range of items, all designed to bring nature to meet us, wherever we are. Our products are made by a small group of artisans, and feature aspects of the British countryside and seasons, focusing on nature.
Rocky Shore: Being made of islands, the UK has miles and miles of shore, both beaches and the more rugged rocks which inspired this scarf. The main colour is 10% merino wool, sourced from Ardara, in Donegal on the West Coast of Ireland, and is bought by the skein. The waves, foam and rocks are made with 20% wool.
Care Instructions
All our scarves should be dry-cleaned or washed by a very gentle hand wash, shaped whilst wet, and left to dry flat to avoid shrinking the wool upper.
